Mobile Service in Scottsdale

The whole point of mobile auto glass service is that you should not have to drive a damaged windshield across the Phoenix metro to get it fixed. We come to you. Driveway, office parking lot at Scottsdale Quarter, the lot behind your favorite Old Town coffee place, wherever you actually are when you have an hour. Mobile service across all of Scottsdale, plus Paradise Valley, Tempe, Phoenix, and the surrounding cities.

Call (480) 463-6611, tell us what you need fixed and where you'll be, and we'll show up with everything required to do the work on the spot.

Why mobile service makes more sense in Scottsdale than most cities

Auto glass technician working on a new windshield laid out on a foldable work table in front of a Scottsdale-style adobe home, with a white service van parked in the driveway.

Phoenix had 31 consecutive days at or above 110°F in 2023, breaking the previous record. That mattered for a lot of reasons, but one of the less-discussed ones is what those temperatures do to anyone trying to handle car maintenance during summer. The idea of dropping your car at a shop on Hayden Road at 10am, waiting in a hot lobby until 3pm, and then driving home through afternoon thunderstorm season is a tax most Scottsdale residents would rather not pay.

Mobile service eliminates the part of windshield work that wastes the customer's day. We arrive at your house, your office, your kid's softball practice at Cactus Park, or anywhere with enough flat space to back up next to the vehicle. The work happens in the time you'd otherwise spend sitting in a waiting room. By the time we're done, you have a new windshield and you didn't lose half a day.

The other Scottsdale-specific factor is sprawl. Scottsdale runs almost 30 miles north to south, from south of McKellips up past the Carefree border. A traditional shop-based model means a customer in north Scottsdale near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard might be driving 25 minutes through traffic to get to a glass shop, then 25 minutes back. Mobile means we do the driving, once, and the time tax falls on us. That's how the math should work.

What our mobile service actually covers

Most of what we do works mobile. Full windshield replacement on most vehicles takes 60 to 90 minutes of install time plus the cure window, and we can do it in your driveway, your covered parking spot, or an office lot. Chip and crack repair is even simpler. 20 to 30 minutes total, almost always mobile.

Sunroof replacement we sometimes do mobile and sometimes ask you to come to us, depending on the complexity. For a simple sunroof panel replacement with no frame damage, mobile works. For a more involved repair with rail or frame work, we prefer a controlled space. Either way, we tell you on the phone.

Side mirror repair is almost always mobile. The car doesn't even have to be drivable; we can pull up next to it in the garage.

ADAS calibration is the one service where mobile depends on the vehicle. Static calibrations on most Toyotas, Hondas, and Subarus can be done mobile with our portable target rig. Dynamic calibrations require driving the vehicle on roads with clear lane markings; for that we use Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard or a similar straight route depending on where you are. Some European luxury vehicles need a controlled bay for calibration, and for those we have you come in.

What we bring with us

Here's what's in the truck on a typical mobile call. The actual replacement glass for your vehicle (sourced and confirmed in stock before we leave). All the urethane, primers, glass-removal tools, and trim picks for your vehicle's specific molding setup. A 12-volt-and-shore-power inverter so we don't need an outlet for the curing equipment. ADAS calibration equipment (where applicable). Cleanup gear and a vacuum for the glass shards that always end up under the dashboard and inside door sills.

The setup time at your location is about 10 minutes. The breakdown at the end is another 10. The actual install work in between is where most of the time goes.

If we run into something unexpected, we tell you on the spot. Occasionally that happens: a corroded windshield frame that needs more cleanup, a rare trim clip that breaks during removal, an ADAS calibration that won't seat without rerunning the procedure. We don't sneak it onto the bill at the end.

When mobile won't work

A few situations where we'd rather you come in or rebook. Heavy rain (we can't seal a windshield in active rain, and mobile setups don't have weather cover). Extreme heat above about 115°F in direct sun for a long install means the urethane behaves differently and we'd rather work in shade. Calibrations that require a controlled bay. Very tight underground parking garages where we can't fit the truck and the workspace.

When any of those apply, we reschedule. Sometimes we'll suggest you drive 10 minutes to a covered location near your work or home where we can do the job correctly. Anyways, we don't push through bad conditions just to keep an appointment; the work doesn't hold and you'd be calling us back in two weeks.

What it costs versus shop pricing

Same as our shop pricing. Mobile service is included in the price quoted on the phone, not an extra fee. The reason: most jobs work mobile already, and pricing reflects that. Some larger competitors charge a mobile-call fee on top of the job cost; we don't.

What does cost extra: parts above standard (OEM where aftermarket exists, accessories beyond standard glass, special-order vehicles), and emergency-priority scheduling outside our normal Monday-through-Saturday hours.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be home when you do the work?

Not usually. Most mobile customers leave the key in a known spot or with a neighbor, give us access codes to a gate or driveway, and we text them when we arrive and when we're done. Some prefer to be on-site; that's fine too. We can work either way.

How do I know the glass is the right one for my car?

We confirm year, make, model, and trim level on the phone before we order or come out. For vehicles with multiple glass options (rain sensor or not, heads-up display or not, etched VIN or not), we walk through it on the call. The wrong glass doesn't get loaded on the truck.

What if it starts raining during the install?

We have shade tarps and basic weather equipment, but in genuinely heavy rain we'd pause the install until it clears or reschedule. Phoenix-area monsoon afternoons are usually short, and a 30-minute pause often resolves it. If it doesn't, we'll come back another day at no extra charge.

Can you do mobile service at my apartment complex or HOA?

Yes, in most cases. Some HOAs and complexes require parking-lot permission for commercial vehicles; we can usually work that out with a quick call to the front office, or we'll just park on a public street nearby and do the install there.

Are you licensed and insured?

We only partner with licensed and insured contractors. Every request for a quote on this site goes to a single windshield replacement contractor who is always verified licensed and insured.
